On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Alvin Martice “Teesey” Campbell, Jr., loving father, son, and brother, passed away at age 44 at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
Teesey was born on June 5, 1977, at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia. He received his high school diploma from Manchester High School in Manchester, Georgia in 1995. After graduation, Teesey was employed at Panasonic in Peachtree City, Georgia. On August 2, 1998, he became a proud father to Akeira Martin, whom he dearly loved and adored.
Throughout his life Teesey made several meaningful friendships as he truly enjoyed being around family and friends. He was always fond of family gatherings, especially eating home cooked meals and grilled food. We often teased him about his hefty appetite given his slim stature. Teesey enjoyed taking short road trips, listening to music, and exploring new places to eat good food. As God would have it, for nearly 10 years our beloved brother was met with serious health challenges, including diabetes and epilepsy. Teesey was blessed to have some devoted family members who collaborated in supporting and caring for him throughout his difficult journey.
Teesey was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Campbell, Sr., brother, Ameil Campbell, and sister, Antoinette Campbell.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved mother, Annette Campbell; daughter, Akeira Martin; siblings, Angela (Earl) Sheffield, Adrian (Aretha) Campbell, Arlene (Derrick) Alexander, Artemus (Michelle) Campbell, Arnold (April) Campbell, April Y. Campbell, Alicia (Harold) Powell, Arnitra (Chris) Shaw, Aloysius (Nesha) Campbell, Amy Campbell, and Alexis (Demetric) Rosser; one half-brother, Atron (Cynthia) Favors; and one half-sister, Vicky Wright.
Teesey will be dearly missed by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
