ANTONIO FAVORS was born on September 14,
1976, in Lagrange, GA, to Jennifer Mitchell and the late John
David Favors. Tony was preceded in death by his father, John
David Favors; and grandfathers, William Reeves and John
Robert Favors. He graduated from Greenville High School.
He worked at Walmart and also did construction with his
brother as a dependable employee. Most people knew him
as “York” and “Big Meech.” Tony enjoyed being with his
family, joking and keeping everyone around him laughing.
He loved to watch the Atlanta Falcons on Sundays and also
enjoyed watching basketball. He transitioned peacefully to
his everlasting home on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
Tony was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, and
stepfather. He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife
of twelve years, Ella Favors; mother and stepfather, Jennifer
and Larry Mitchell; stepmother, Quincy Favors; grandparents,
Rosa Mae Reeves and Mary Favors; siblings, Lakesia (Chon)
Terrell, Jonathan Favors, Marvin Mitchell, Belinda Mitchell,
and Latasha Mitchell; step-children, Joe Ford, Jr., Sabrina Ford,
and Damarious Ford; he also leaves to treasure his memories
to his nieces, Keshonna Terrell and Jenniya Terrell; nephews,
Lichon (Kayla) Terrell and Jonathan Antonio Favors; and a
host of aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.
