Belinda Williams was born on April 11, 1951, in Manchester,GA, to the late Brother John Richard and Sister Edith B.Ferguson. She received her education at Meriwether County Training (MCT) School. She worked in the healthcare sector as a housekeeping supervisor.
Lynn was affectionately regarded by everyone as a devoted family woman characterized with integrity,strength,and Christian values. She took pleasure in participating in family activities, visiting the casino, playing cards, sitting gossiping on the phone with Jiy, cooking, and sharing jokes with her nieces.
Throughout her life, she exemplified the role of an extraordinary mother, grandmother, aunt, and always showing care for others. She accepted Christ at a young age at Greentown Height Church of Christ. Subsequently, she became a member of Leverette Hill Baptist Church located in Warm Springs, GA.
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the Lord proclaimed, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant,” and summoned her to His heavenly home, where she was greeted and welcomed by her late husband, Homer Williams; mother, Edith B. Ferguson; father, John R. Ferguson; sister, Johnnie Mae Taylor; and brothers, Willie J. Ferguson, John T. Ferguson, and Richard Ferguson.
Mother Belinda Williams departs, leaving behind beloved memories and affection that will be forever cherished by her sons, Kervin Ferguson and Reginald (Kennera) Ferguson; as well as her daughter, Varsha Steverson; bonus daughter, Laquandra Ferguson, all residing in Manchester, GA; special niece, Rose B. Prather (Tyrone) of Gay, GA; two brothers, Calvin (Marsha) Williams of Miami, FL, and Willie Williams (Alberta) of Miami, FL; one sister-in-law, Mary A. Ferguson of LaGrange, GA; six grandsons, Alextron McAfee, Antrovious Ferguson, Deon Parker, Kervontae Ferguson, Anthony Ferguson, and Santwan Holt, Jr.; ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
