Sis. Bernice C. Williams was born November 25, 1935 to the late Jim and Mattie Culpepper in Talbot County. She graduated from the Meriwether County Training School in 1954.
On Saturday, September 21, 2024, the Lord dispatched Angels from Heaven to usher Sister Bernice C. Williams into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Bernice married the love of her life Willie Aaron Williams Sr (Goop) and joined St. Paul CME Methodist Church. Unto this union for over 60 years 5 children were born. Willie and 3 children Carol, Kenneth, and Thomas preceded her in death.
Bernice worked for Goody Products, Playtex, retiring from Roosevelt Institute. She had five sibling that also preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son: Willie Aaron Williams Jr. of Manchester, GA , and one daughter; Angela Faye (Byron) Stevenson of Manchester, GA.; a sister Mrs. Erma Jean Copeland (Saginaw Michigan) ;Grandchildren Kennera Ferguson and Roderic Walton of Talbot County, Marcus Henry of Newnan GA, Kimberly Burton of Tampa, Florida, Adeidry (Anthony) Bowman of Lagrange GA, Denetry and Adrias Williams of Lagrange GA, Kierra Gray of Columbus GA, Akeenan Bridges of Norcross, GA,; and a host of Great Grandchildren.
Also she had four nephews that were dear to her heart; Leon and Lester Prather, Leon and Frank Williams who will miss her dearly along with other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
