Obituary
Betty Louise Edwards was born March 10, 1954 to J.C. and Pearl Lee Edwards. She departed this life on November 8, 2022. Betty was a member of Christian Valley Baptist Church of Cataula, GA.
She was baptized on October 12, 2008. Lucy was a “BOSS.” She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, old school R&B, watching detective movies and game shows. She showed her family love through her cooking and discipline. She was always there for family and friends to lend a helping hand, a listening ear without judgement or a shoulder to lean on. All those who knew her knew Lucy laid down the law but it was not in vain but out of love.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Clifford Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Angela Smith,Tammie Perry(Raymond), and Pearl Thomas; one son: Christopher Thomas(Trenda); nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister Barbara Scott; four brothers William Edwards, Larry Edwards, Johnny Edwards(Lucille), and Robert Edwards; one sister-in-law Barbara Edwards and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
