BRANDON SMITH was born on February 27, 2006, to Jennifer Smith and Stefon Gates in LaGrange, Georgia.On Sunday, December 10, 2023, our beloved angel departed from Earth to Glory.
Brandon attended Hogansville Elementary and Manchester Middle/High School. He was a fun,loving, and respectable young man, that was loved dearly by his family and friends. Brandon was known for his bright smile and his love for dancing. He always dreamed of going to the NFL to play professional football.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Betty Applebee; great-great-grandmother Maggie Bolden; an aunt, Martha Applebee; and a special cousin, Rodriquez McFarland.
He leaves to always cherish his precious memories : his loving parents, Jennifer Smith and Stefon Gates; devoted parents who raised him, Jessie and Maxine Atkinson; siblings, Ja’Niyah, B’Raylin, and Jakhialah Smith; close cousins, Jalissa, Jefferey, Jakiira Hardy, Harmony, Ivyonna, Jaylah, and Jeremiyah Smith; loving grandmother, Itrene Wilkerson; loving great-uncles/aunts, Ethel McFarland, Gloria Burton, Jerry (Malissa) McFarland, Janice (Durley) Dowell, Wiley (Latrice) Wilkerson, Shirley Harrison, and Thomas Hardway; loving uncles/aunts, Kerry Atkinson, Jasmine (Jessica) Smith, Jessica (Renglen) Smith, and Jessie Atkinson; special cousins, Christopher Christian, Aiden McFarland, and Mario Rippy; a loving godmother, Katarica Mosley; and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
