Clara Robinson Obituary

Mrs. Clara Robinson was born on May 28, 1936, in Harris County, Georgia, to the late Henry Gore and Arleatha Gore. She peacefully departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest on June 11, 2026, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia.

Mrs. Robinson lived most of her life in Pine Mountain, Georgia, where she was affectionately known as “Toot” by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia.

Throughout her life, Clara worked as a domestic caregiver and housekeeper. In her later years, she found great joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured the special bond she shared with her two surviving sisters, Hattie Broughton and Rosie Mae Grimes. Together, they could often be found laughing, reminiscing, and caring for one another.

Clara was a bright light to all who knew her. Her warm smile, lively spirit, and joyful laughter brought comfort and happiness to many. Though she will be greatly missed, her loving memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children: Avva Scott (George) of Pine Mountain, Georgia; Tim Tucker of Pine Mountain, Georgia; Robert Lewis (Angela) of LaGrange, Georgia; Jermaine Lewis of Texas; Craig Robinson of Pine Mountain, Georgia; Jimmy Robinson of Columbus, Georgia; and Dayton Robinson of Columbus, Georgia.

She also leaves a host of cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory and miss her dearly.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
