Clifford Adams Obituary

Clifford B. Adams, age 62, peacefully transitioned from this life on December 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family as they shared moments of laughter, love, and cherished memories. He answered the Lord’s call after a life filled with service, faith, and compassion.

Clifford was born on March 27, 1963, in Manchester, Georgia, to the late John Lamar Adams and Bonnie J. Williams. He was preceded in death by his  beloved grandfather, John Lewis Adams, Lucy Agnes Adams, and his partner, Carolyn Munn, whom he now joins in eternal rest.

At an early age, Clifford accepted Christ. His faith remained a guiding light throughout his life, and he continued to grow in his relationship with the Lord, trusting God’s grace in every season. He attended Manchester High School, where he completed his formal education.

Clifford proudly served his country as a Specialist in the United States Army for five years. His service was marked by honor, discipline, and excellence. He received numerous awards, including the Air Assault Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Expert Qualification Badge (M-16/Grenade), and the Army Service Ribbon. Through his military service, Clifford traveled the world, standing firm in duty while trusting God to guide and protect him.

Clifford was a man who never met a stranger. His heart reflected the love of Christ, as he freely shared kindness, compassion, and encouragement with all he encountered. His presence brought comfort, joy, and laughter, leaving a lasting imprint on countless lives.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his four children: Breniethia (David) Cypher, Tawanna Adams, Tiffany Adams, and Kori (Charlisse) Newbell; his grandchildren: Havik, Maddox, Christian (CJ), Malik, Khalil, Kaleb, Senia and Luke; his sister, LaKesha (Bryan) Adams, brother Antonio Adams; nephew, Jalen Leonard; niece, Brylee Stillwell cousin/sister Patricia (Jimmy) Buchanan, cousin/brother Ricky Hunt, Aunt Janie Mae White, along with extended family members, and a host of cousins and friends.

Though he is no longer with us in body, Clifford’s spirit, faith, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. We find comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and that he now rests peacefully in God’s eternal care.
