The sun rose on the life of Clinton Dramaine Mahone on November 18, 1975, at the Upson Regional Hospital in Thomaston, Georgia. Clinton was known as Maine by family but was later called Lucky Boy by friends. He is the son of the late Clinton and Annette Mahone. During his lifetime he's done multiple jobs but driving trucks for Azenta Life Sciences was his favorite until his health failed him.
Maine was a life-long member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist church where he served the Lord. He loved his family and was a loving and devoted brother, father, cousin, uncle and friend. Clinton went through a new life journey and received a new heart and liver on January 6, 2025, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was ready to live his best life, but on Thursday, June 12, 2025, God had other plans, and he gave a new life and in a better home. Clinton still resided in Jacksonville, Fla. where he was currently receiving transplant treatments.
Clinton was preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Annette Mahone and brother Eddie Darnell Mahone.
Clinton leaves to cherish memories with six children: Enyshun, Seth, Sydney, Calee, Chloe and Jaiden; one granddaughter Nalani; three God daughters Asha Johnson, Aliayjah and A'arriah Williams. three sisters Terra Echols, Woodbury, Ga, Tiffany Prather, Manchester, Ga, and Fallon Holmes.; one brother Bryant Martin (Patricia) Gay, Georgia. 15 nieces/nephews 13 great nieces/nephew and 1 great great nephew whom he loved so much and treated as his own. Clinton's aunts and uncles Annie G. Johnson, Carolyn Mahone, Betty (Leroy) Richardson, Mary T. McGill, Martha T. Copeland, Evelyn (Charlie), Juanita (Roger Scott) Carter, and Beverly Terry. uncles: Adolph (Brenda) Mahone, Charles (Marie) Terry, Emmitt Terry, Albert Campbell, Willie Ralph Stevenson, and Samuel Mahone (special cousin). Last but not least, all of those wonderful cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
