The legacy of Nathaniel Parks began on December 7, 1950, in Gay, GA. Hewas born to the late Charlie Parks, Jr and Isabell Parks. At an early age,Nathaniel accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. He was a faithful member and served as a Deacon.
Nathaniel graduated from Woodbury High School in Woodbury, GA with the Class of 1968. After graduation Nathaniel was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country. After completing his assignment
Nathaniel was employed by Philip’s Concrete (USA Blocks) in Fayetteville,GA working alongside his brother until he retired. He had a passion for helping others with home repairs and construction projects.
On November 21, 1972, Nathaniel was unified in holy matrimony to the late Fannie (Milner) Parks. God blessed this union with four beautiful children,Nancy Lyfae Parks, Patrick Shondell Parks (deceased), Patreasa Sydana Wilcox and Erick Byshon Parks.
Nathaniel departed this life, and begin his new life in heaven on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, son,parents, grandparents Charlie Parks, Sr., Addie Mae Parks, Joseph Alexander, Sr. and Bessie Martin Alexander, his brother Reverend Charlie Steve Parks, sisters Addie Mae Milner and Bettie Ann Render.
He leaves to cherish his memories, children: Nancy Parks, Patreasa(Christopher) Wilcox, Erick (Takeyla) Parks and Kimberly Alford-Parks. Grand Children: Niesha Parks, Kanorris Martin, Bailei Wilcox, Amia Parks,Jaimoni Parks, Erick (Letty) Parks, Jr., Khaniyah Keith, Teira Parks,
Mattiera (Ivan) Holsey, Nicole Parks, Keshun Andrews, Tionna Parks,Takiya Terry, Daja Parks, Jamal Parks and Jontavious Willis. Great Grandchildren: Jaliyah Ford, Ari Ford, Paislei Miller, Landon Parks, Erick Parks III, LaRhonda Parks, Isaiah Knauls, Khylan Alsobrooks, Icelyn Parks, Kason Martin and Ashtin Parks. Siblings: Bessie King Allen, Annie Tuck,
Alvin (Shirley) Parks, Michael (Cynthia) Parks, Angela Martin, William McDowell and Stacy (Erick) Barber. Aunts: Viola Hall, Gaynell Favors,Margie Alexander, Janie Parks and Margaret Butler. Brother In-laws: Milton Milner, Robert Milner, and Roy Milner. Special friends: Gracie Bryant,Deacon Guy Pope and many others. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins
