Edward James Terry aka "Eddie"or "Shakey" was born on April 9,1956 in Talbot,County Ga. to the late Fred James Terry and Florence Rebecca Copeland-Terry (Honey).
He attended school at Central of Talbotton in Talbotton, Georgia, and graduated with the Class of 1974.
Eddie accepted Christ into his life at an early age and joined St. Paul C.M.E in Shiloh, Ga. where he remained a faithful servant until his health declined.
Eddie worked at Dundee's Mill for 17 years until they closed. Later in life, he worked for Jackson &Jackson Construction, and Ellison & Denson Masonry.
On Friday August 15,2025 Eddie transitioned from Earth to Glory.
He was preceded in death by his four brothers: Wallace Terry, Victor Terry, Alben Terry, Norman Terry and two nephews: Faizon Terry & Shannon Terry.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memories to a loving, devoted son Juanee Valdez Terry of Manchester, Ga., two grandsons; KeJuanee Valderious Terry of Manchester, Ga. and Justus Valquez Terry of Austin, TX; his wife Mrs. Wynee Yvette Walker-Terry of Union City, Ga.; three step-children: Wymeka, MeQuondra, and Chasmine; six loving sisters:Judy Williams of Detroit, MI., Betty Crouch of Southfield MI.,Aileen Terry of Columbus, Ga., Gloria Terry Martin (Winston) of College Park, Ga.,Iris Hardaway (Elroy) of Columbus, Ga.and Demelody Terry of Manchester,Ga.,four aunts: Marie Copeland of Detroit,MI. ,Golden Hardnett of Shiloh, Ga.,Jeanette Copeland and Dorothy Gamble of Reading, PA and one uncle Frank Copeland of Mt.Rainier,MD; five sister in laws: Niadra Walker,Karen Turner, Audreia Walker,Rena Walker, and Tonya Walker; five brother in laws: Guata Walker, Roderick Walker, Myrick Walker, Starzee Walker, and Charles Walker, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
