Elbony Nicole Sheffield

Elbony Sheffield, a loving and friendly soul, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2023, at Piedmont Midtown Hospital in Columbus, GA. Born on May 24, 1989, in Columbus, GA, Elbony was a cherished person of her community, church and a beloved figure in her family. Elbony was born to Pamela Collier Weaver, who preceded her in death, and Brenton Trice.She was preceded in death also by her daughter Jy’Erin Monrell Collier.

Elbony was joined in holy matrimony with John Sheffield and through that union they shared the birth of one daughter.

Elbony was educated in Talbot County Schools and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Frank Holmes. Elbony enjoyed spending time with her daughter who she loved dearly. She also found joy in engaging with her Facebook friends, where she was known for her friendly demeanor and loving spirit.

Elbony leaves to cherish a loving husband John Sheffield, one daughter Jameah Sheffield, six sisters Tamarra Carter, Jessika Carter, Ny’Azjha Carter, ZiKeyah Carter, Jherni Carter, and Lovie Carter, one brother Jarrold K. Edge, a grandfather Freddie Marshall, a stepmother Angelia Carter, and a stepfather Eddie Weaver,  three sister-in-laws Brittany Stinchcomb, Santeria Stinchcomb, Santrice Johnson, and two brother in laws Aldo Sheffield, and Mario Sheffield.She also leaves to cherish a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends who all loved her dearly.
