Georgia Minniefield was born March 21, 1945, to the late Inell Jenkins and Oscar Jenkins in Meriwether County. She departed her life at her home in Warm Springs, GA, on April 11, 2023.
Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Minniefield; two children, Gary Minniefield and Stephanie Minniefield; two sisters, Lizzie Jenkins and Inez Carter; and four brothers, Charles Jenkins, Oscar Jenkins, Joelee Jenkins, and Hubbard Jenkins.
She leaves to cherish: her loving daughters, Lois Williams (Samuel), Bernice Prather (the late Marcus), Octavia Martin (Alvin), Lawanda Minniefield, and LaTonja Minniefield; loving sons, Alexander Minniefield, Willie Minniefield, Jamie Minniefield (Lizzie), and Kevin Minniefield; loving sister, Nora Harris of Warm Springs, GA; loving uncle, Thomas Jenkins of Shiloh, GA; she also leaves 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
