Grant Perdue Harps, affectionately known as "Tom Bug," was born March 28, 1960, to his wonderful parents, who preceded him in death, the late Louise Perdue Nelson and R.C. "Bro" Harps, Sr. Grant made his angelic departure "To scratch around in Heaven," on August 17, 2020, in Woodbury, Georgia. In Grant's young adult life, he attended Woodbury Elementary and High School in Woodbury, Georgia. As years progressed, Tom Bug became a master of many skills. He was a mechanic, a specialized "Low Carb" bartender, carpenter, weatherman, comedian, and most of all, a "Mountain Doctor" whom was known to "Heal the Sick." Tom Bug was a man of virtue. To know him was to love him, even through his stubborn ways. Tom Bug's stubbornness did not determine his fate; he simply meant what he said and said what he meant. Through it all, he was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin, friend, and neighborhood "Pops." Grant was preceded in death by his two brothers, Roy Lee Price and R.C. Harps Jr.; and his daughter, Tiara Jackson. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: four sons, Adrian Martin, Mario (Amia) Prather, Jeremy Colton, and Ja'marcus Colton; two daughters, Anita (Tony) Fuller and Lapenda Anthony; one brother, Steve Perdue; two sisters, Patricia (Willie) Bowles and Lorraine (Stanley) Weaver; a very special friend, Betty Joe Lockhart and her kids whom he treated as his own; a best "Bud," Brandon "PP" Moody; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews,
