Joseph David Williamson Sr.

Mr Joseph “David” Williamson Sr., age 80, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 in Shiloh, Georgia. Born December 22, 1943, the son of Charlie H. and Iris Williamson.

He worked as a Dragline Operator with Mosaic for over (38) Years and was proud to be a long time Deacon of the Free Will Baptist Church.  He loved his family, most of all playing with his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and his great greatgrandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of (44) Years, Louise H. Williamson, (2) brothers Danny and Cecil Williamson as well as his uncle in which he spent much of his time hunting with James Williamson.

He is survived by his loving family that includes his daughter Lisa Thornton (Jack) of Shiloh, Georgia, son, Joseph “David” Williamson Jr. (Sandie) of Bartow, Florida, siblings Grady Williamson and Sandra Mosely, both of Bartow. His grandchildren Dustin McKenize, Tabitha Snyder, Zachary Davis, Kelli McKenzie, Justen Levasseur, Megan Williamson, Breanna Thornton and Morgan Williamson. He also leavesbehind (8) great grandchildren, Isabel, Gavin, Clayton, Emma Jane, Kainen, Eli, Hazeley and Bellami as well as (1) great greatgrandchild Fisher.

?There will be a Celebration of David’s life on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Highland City Free Will Baptist Church, 5546 4th Street, Highland City,Florida
