On Thursday, August 21, 2025, God sent angels down to bring His angel, Juanita Strozier-Orme, home. She was born on March 16, 1950, in Woodbury, GA, to the late Ernest and Fannie Strozier. She attended Woodbury High School. After her graduation, she moved Atlanta, where she attended Georgia State University and studied Business Administration. Later in life, she met and married Jerry Orme. From this union, one son was conceived. Juanita was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Manchester, GA.
For many years, Juanita made her home in Witchita, KS, where she built many lasting friendships and created beautiful memories. While there, she met her devoted companion, Vernon Stewart, who became her special friend and shared many of life’s joys and milestones with her. She valued family gatherings, sharing stories, and keeping traditions alive. To know Juanita was to love her, and her impact will live on through the countless lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Fannie Strozier; two sisters, Ernestine Bradshaw and Rose Curtis (Ralph); two brothers, Hilton Strozier and Allen Strozier, Sr.; and other loved ones who welcome her into glory.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memory: her only son,Tyrone Strozier (Angela) of Union City, GA; two grandchildren, Deja M. Strozier of Norfolk, VA, and Tyvontae Strozier of Greenville, GA; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Strozier, Jr., of Greenville, GA, and Lorenzo Strozier of Woodbury,GA; one sister, Malinda Marshall (Bobby) of Greenville,GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
