Mr. Larry Howard was born April 11, 1954, to the late BenHowe and the late Minister Corine Howe.
He attended Manchester High School and shortly afterwards pursued a career of over 20 years with Mead. After retirement with Mead, Larry became employed with Walmart Distribution Center and Roosevelt Institute.
In his spare time, Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycle,watching western cowboy movies, and he LOVED the Georgia Bulldogs. Larry had a funny sense of humor. You were guaranteed to laugh if Larry was around.
On July 4, 1976, Larry married the love of his life, Geraldine Howard. They were married for 49 years.
He leaves to cherish his memories and to celebrate his legacy: his lovely wife, Geraldine Howard; three daughters,Mafia Gamble of Rex, GA, Shavares (Wallace) Williams of Phenix City, AL, and Sharina Howard of Columbus, GA;one son, Rodney (Nicolle) Howard of Ellenwood, GA; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; four sisters,Darlene (Robert) Dunlap and Patricia Gates, both of Warm Springs, GA, and two sisters who preceded him in death,Ida Walton and Elizabeth Howe; four brothers, Sam Howe of Warm Springs, GA, and three who preceded in death,Jimmy Lee Howard, Ben Howard, Jr., and Raiford Howe;two special friends, the late Homer (Chief) Williams and Clarence (Beaver) Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
