Larry Wayne Mahone was born to the late Ephfrom and Carrie Bell Evans Mahone on Oct 1, 1955. Larry graduated from Woodbury High School, and although he never matriculated at any college or university he was a self-taught, do it yourself handy man who loved working with his hands. He loved to fish and was a gifted artist who could draw almost anything. Larry's love for the Lord was evident in his daily interactions with all he came in contact with. He never hesitated to pray for someone, share his testimony, or teach all he knew about the word of God. He will be remembered as a selfless, humble servant of God! He was baptized at Mt Pleasant Baptist church at an early age. He then went on to become a deacon at Word of Truth Ministries in Columbus, Ga. He faithfully served at Miracle Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Thomas Daniels, and had a special love for his church family and for the community. Larry's legacy will be celebrated by his daughter Marquisa Mahone, his three grandchildren who were the light of his life: Mercedes Harrison, Mason Harrison, and Madisyn Harrison, his sisters Verna Mahone Hamler (Brinson), Annie Ruth Campbell, Annette G. Campbell and brother Samuel Mahone. A host of nieces and nephews (who he loved as his own), cousins and dear friends who will miss him immensely. Graveside Service will be held Monday November 9 2020 at 12:00 pm in the Walker Memory Garden Cemetery Woodbury Ga 30293. Bishop Thomas Daniels Pastor Woodbury Miracle Fellowship will officiate.
