Lucille Carter was born on March 16, 1968,to Mr. Willie Carter and Mrs. Annie Laura Clark in Woodbury, Georgia. She worked at Goodie Pac in her younger days, and she loved spending time with family and friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her father, Willie Carter; mother, Annie Laura Carter; sisters, Pauline Carreker, Jackie Odell, Lizzie Mae Carter, and Willie Mae Weaver; brothers, Etimothy Carreker and Rency Timothy Carreker.
She is survived by her two daughters, Shamekia Harris of Woodburg, GA, and Mekia Carter; four grandchildren, MarTiece Hinton, Jr., Markelyn King, Thaddeus Williams, Jr., and RiAsyla Harris; two sisters, Mae Carter and Angel Miller (Gregory, broth of Syracuse, NY; two brothers, Pastor Willie A. Carter (Sunya) of McDonugh, GA, and Lee David Carter of Syracuse, NY; cherished mother and father, Bertha McGruder and Jimmie Lewis Merideth; four extended sisters, Charlotte, Michelle, Sherika McGruder, and Sonja White; two extended brothers, Kaboris (Corendishe Johnson and Kevalin McGruder; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
