Ms. Marian Ann Ford was born on August 6, 1960, to the late Andrew and Annie Laura Carreker. Marian silently, but fiercely battled cancer for thirteen months before she departed her earthly home to be reunited with her parents on June 21, 2024, at the Columbus Hospice.
Ms. Ford was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Keith.
She leaves to cherish her many memories: a devoted son, Adrian (Brittany) Ford of Hamilton, GA; siblings, Vickie Carreker of Thomaston, GA, Tracey Carreker of Talbotton, GA, Veronica (Will) Willis of Talbotton, GA, Alvin Carreker of Talbotton, GA, Paul Carreker of Warner Robins, GA, Pauline (Lee) Mitchell of Shiloh, GA, and Nadine (Terrell) Carreker of Jonesboro, GA; granddaughter that she adored, Ariana Ford; one special niece, Nikeshia Coppet; three special nephews, Louis Willis of Columbus, GA, Kelvin Willis of Warm Springs, GA, and Kedran Darns of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and the many students of Central Elementary High School who she viewed as her own children.Final care provided by the licensed dignified funeral care providers at McCoy Funeral Home.
