Mary Nell McGill

On March 20th 1949 Mrs. Mary Nell Dozier was born to the late Ida Mae and Jessie Dozier in Talbot County, Georgia.

Mary Nell joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Woodbury, GA at a very early age and served as a member until transferring her membership to  Mt. Venus Baptist Church after Marrying the love of her life the late Mr. Johnny McGill.

Mary Nell received her education in the Meriwether County school system and she was employed at Nabisco in Woodbury,GA and Alenco in Peachtree City,GA until her health declined. To know Mary was to absolutely love her! She opened her home and fed anyone who was in need. She loved cooking, spending time with family, and ALWAYS looking stylish! 

Mary Nell was welcomed into her eternal home on Thursday July 14,2022 by her husband Johnny McGill, mother Ida Mae Dozier, father Jessie Dozier, one son Deshawn Bell, three brothers Willie Frank, Joseph Dozier and Andrew Dozier. Three sisters Ms. Mattie Hinton, Bessie Mae Dozier and Emma Heath. A special friend  Larry mahone and a brother in law Mr. Emmett Harper.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one daughter Marquisha Mahone; two sons Bobby Dozier, and Tyrone Bell all of Woodbury GA. Twenty-five grandchildren and Twenty great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; four sisters, Dorothy ( Dwight ) Thompson Of Richmond VA; Sarah Harper Of Lithonia Ga : Della ( Micheal ) Davis Of Atlanta,GA and Lucille Dozier of Woodbury,GA; six brothers Mr. Henry Dozier , Robert ( Pat ) Dozier , Albert ( Geraldine ) Dozier , Jessie ( Gloria ) Dozier All Of Atlanta,GA: Jerry Dozier and Micheal Dozier both of Woodbury,GA; A mother in law Lillie Mae McGill of Woodbury,GA; A special niece like a daughter  Mae Mae Gunn , and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
