Mary Katherine Wert

Katherine Wert, 73, of Box Springs,GA passed away Tuesday, August 29,2023.

Ms.Wert was born April 29, 1950 in Tampa, Florida the daughter of William H. Wert and Cornelia Wert.

Those who knew her, affectionately called her Kathy. Kathy attended Largo High School, in Largo, Florida. She attended Upatoi United Methodist Church in Upatoi,Georgia .Kathy spent her leisure time volunteering at her church home and St.Jude organization. Also she was a devoted member of the Box Springs Volunteer Fire Department. Kathy worked at the Country Kitchen restaurant , Buck Ice, and SafeHouse ministries for many years. She will be missed for her love, support, and dedication to her community, church, family, and friends.

Kathy leaves to cherish her memories a loving sister Julie Wert of Aripeka, Florida. Final Care provided by McCoy Funeral Home of Manchester,Georgia.
