Mattie Estelle Jones

Mattie E Jones, the daughter of the late Mr. Vinson Dunn and the late Mrs. Edna Owens Dunn. She was born 3/23/1936 in Meriwether County, last one of 10 children, all other sibling proceeded her in death She joined Mt Pleasant Baptist Church at a young age, at a very early age she was married to LC Jones (BO), under this union was born two Children, she enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren and cooking. She was a very kind and caring hearted person, never meeting a stranger and always willing to help anybody. She leaves to cherish her memories two children Sylvia Jones and Scotty Jones of Woodbury, Ga. Three grandchildren, Kadarin Smith(Woodbury), raised as her own, Kennan Lockhart(Lagrange, ), Kentrell Jones (Manchester, Ga.), a special neice, she was a second mom to Sonya Jones-Holt. Seven great grandchildren : Micahia, Kadarin Jr., Micarius, Raleigh, Aiden, Kenslee and Kentrell, Jr. A host of nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws, friends and other relatives that will miss her dearly. Special thanks to nephew Lerone Anthony and her neighbor Kent Mahone GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY OCTOBER 23,2020 @ 12:00 pm at the Walker Memory Garden Cemetery of Woodbury Ga 30293
