Nina Alford

Nina S. Alford was born in Woodbury, Ga on November 30, 1947 to the late Sarah F. Slaton and Jasper Slaton.She was 76 years old and fought a good fight of faith. Nina passed away on June 19,2024 at Well Star Lagrange Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Wardell Alford Jr.; 2daughters, Trina Slaton & Ashley Hood (Joshua Hood); 6 grandchildren: Sophia Cameron (Darrius Williams),Michael Cameron (Tareca Cameron), DeNayia Cameron,
Alaina Hood, Emori Hood and Savanna Hood; 6 great granchildren: Amari Fountain, Aiden Williams, Zayvion
Williams, Alaysia Cameron, Darrion Williams and Ariah Wade; 4 sisters: Cynthia Bowles, Peggy Amey (Samuel
Amey), Pamela Clemons, Sarah Slaton (Richard Hussey); 2 brothers: Johnny Slaton (Linda Slaton) and Jasper Slaton
Jr., 3 sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins, and friends.
