Rachel Couch

Ms.Rachel Mashawnda Couch was born July 31,1969 to the late Barbara Couch Harvey and James Author Couch. Rachel departed her life here on earth April 2, 2022 at Piedmont Midtown Columbus Hospital in Columbus,Ga. Rachel attended the Shady Grove Baptist Church of Talbotton,Ga. She was educated in the Talbot County school system (Central Talbotton High School graduate). Ms.Couch was a former employee of Goody Products until the plant closed and then she began working for Koch foods formerly known as Cagles until her health began to fail. Rachel was proceeded in death by her Mother Barbara Couch Harvey.

She leaves behind to behold her memories a father James Author Couch. A daughter Nymaia Couch; Four Grandchildren Jhi’Aija Couch, My’Laija Couch, Malachi Couch and Rakeem Moore Jr; Two siblings Wykeshia Farley and Colette Marshall;Four Aunts Margaret Navarro, Minnie Neal (Ronnie), Mozelle Hamler, Virgie Jones(Larry);Three Uncles Winford Couch(Betty), Daniel Couch(Charlie May) and Hasty Couch(Caroline); Special  friends Clara Epps, Terri Jenkins, Dennis Harris, Tonja Jenkins, Shelia Jenkins, Debbie Walton, Frances Scott and Bruce Ellison; A God Son Dale Lockhart Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her dearly. Professional Services are entrusted to the License Professionals at McCoy Funeral Home.
