Roger Lee Stevenson was born in Warm Springs, GA at Warm Springs Medical Center on September 7, 1964, to Mrs. Eleanor Stevenson White and Mr. George W. Giddens.
Roger attended Meriwether County School System. He was also a faithful employee of Cagel’s Inc. for many years until his health failed him. Roger was a loving son, grandson, daddy, grandaddy, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Moreover, he was a devoted son committed to taking care of his mother throughout her illness.
On January 18, 2023, Mr. Roger Lee Stevenson departed this life. His spirit surrendered to his Master’s calling and departed his earthly body.
Roger leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted mother: Mrs. Eleanor Stevenson White, a father Mr. George (Charlene) Giddens, a grandmother: Mrs. Odessa Hardnett, six children with Theresa Tyler: Kanisha Mahone, Sierra Mahone, LaMarcus Mahone, Brittany (Derrell) Davis, Shanitrice Mahone, Marquaveus Mahone and two children with Ms. Brandy Rodriguez: Jada & Christopher Rodriguez, seven sisters: Brenda Sparks, Chris Hines(Raymond), JoeAnn (Jessie) Giddens, Miriam (Michael) Copeland, Brenda Johnson, Nicole (Cornelius) Ellison, & Ebonye (Ylottis) Holt, one brother: William Scotty Giddens, 14 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
