Sarah Biggs, affectionately known to many as “Jenny Biggs”, was born to the late Carrie and Benny Ross of Talbotton, Georgia. She was employed at Upson Regional Medical Center, then was later employed by Goody’s Products in Manchester, Georgia, and was there for many years.
She was a faithful member of St. Phillips A.M.E. Church in Talbotton, Georgia, until her health declined. She was known and loved for her larger-than-life personality and willingness to help others in the community.
Sarah Biggs was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Biggs; two daughters, Sarah Powell and Charlene Kimbrough; and a special friend, Willie McCrary.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: two daughters, Apostle Theresa (Ernest) Smith and Carrie Edwards, both of Talbotton, GA; four sons, Willie (Sharon) Biggs of Hampton, GA, Eddie (Patricia) Biggs of Columbus, GA, and Reverend Alfred (Mary) Biggs, and Christopher (Verna) Biggs, both of Thomaston, GA; three bonus sons, John Leonard, Leonard Powell, and George (Treyia) Luttrell; two stepdaughters, Tonja (Richard) Copeland and Tonya McCrary; 31 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, including two special friends, Sue Mizell and Barbara Thomas.Final Care Provided by the Licensed Funeral Care Providers at McCoy Funeral Home.
