Sharhonda Letease Weaver, affectionately known as “Bootsie” was born July 10, 1978, to her wonderful parents Patricia(Willie) Bowles and the late Ralph Weaver. On March 9, 2022, “Heaven Scored a Touchdown!” Bootsie made her angelic departure.
In Sharhonda’s young adult life, she graduated from Manchester High School in 1996 and attended Albany State University for a short period of time. She found joy playing basketball, coaching the girls’ basketball team, and watching the National Champions, Georgia Bulldogs. In the words of Bootsie, “How Bout Them Dogs!”
Sharhonda was a Sweet, Helpful, Authentic, Rare, Humble, Original, Nice, Dependable, and Astounding woman. To know her was to love her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: one son: Azarrius Weaver; one sister: Nakia Perdue; four aunts: Lorraine Weaver, Ella Weaver, Debbie Weaver, and Brenda Tyler; one uncle: William Steve Perdue; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends;who loves her dearly.
