Starris Derod “Heavy” Revell, born on December 7, 1969, in Warm Spring, Georgia, to Tommy and Stella Revell. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1987. After graduating he attended Lagrange Tech and entered the workforce. In 1994, he relocated to Newnan.
Throughout his career, he pursued various ventures, but ultimately, he followed his passion and became a pit master. He owned several BBQ and Wings joints, where he was renowned for his humorous remarks, delectable food, and Southern hospitality. Heavy was always a source of entertainment and had a knack for engaging conversations.
Regretfully , he passed away December 19,2025, leaving behind a legacy cherished by his family and friends.
Starris leaves to cherish his memories a mother, Stella Revell; his children:Devante Copeland, Jocelyn Revell, and Jaylon Revell; a grandson, Alijah; siblings:Ella (Fella) Carter, Edrick Revell, and Tomika Johnson; paternal grandparents; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, who will miss him. He will forever be remembered by those who loved him.
