Public Visitation Saturday October 9, 2021 @ 2:00pm McCoy Funeral Home 2:00pm-6:00pm Funeral Service Sunday October 10,2021 @ 2:00pm at the Woodbury Gym Interment Walker Memory Garden Cemetery Stella Mae Hinton of Manchester,GA was born on March 26, 1949, to the late Johnnie Mae Strozier Alford and Robert William Alford who preceded her in death. She passed away Friday October 1,2021 in Columbus,GA at St.Francis Medical Center. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, John Robert Alford, Darryl Alford, and John Lee Alford; two sisters, Theresa Alford, and Mary Ann Alford. She leaves to cherish a husband, Homer James Hinton of Columbus, Georgia; a special devoted friend, Mr. Frank Reese of Manchester, Georgia; two daughters, Martha Jones (Joseph) of Columbus, Georgia, and Charnita Hinton of Woodbury, Georgia; and five sons, William Hinton, and Shatoric Hinton both of Manchester, Georgia, Benson Jones (Shekeiva) of Lagrange, Georgia, Enric Jones (Niya) of Columbus, Georgia, and Carlos Jones (Lysa) of Atlanta, Georgia; 23 grandchildren; six great-grands; two sisters, Barbara J. Alford, and Janice A. Thompson (Wayne) both of Woodbury, Georgia; three brothers, Robert Alford, Jr. (Jane) of Detroit, Michigan, Ronald G. Alford, and William L. Alford both of Woodbury, Georgia; one aunt, Gussie Hammock of Cleveland, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews that will truly miss her, as well.
