Teresa Ann “Williams” Olaluwoye was born August 24, 1966, in Raliegh, Georgia, to Bennie Williams, Jr., and the late Betty Ann Williams. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
She joined Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age. Teresa was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, caregiver, and friend. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Teresa had no birth children but served as a stand-in-the-gap mother to help raise, mentor, and support all the children in the family.
Teresa had a deep love for beauty, reading, and the mother land of Africa.
She had a rare sense of humor, big heart, and loved beyond measure.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her father, Bennie L. Williams of Warm Springs, GA; two loving sisters, Vickie Harris of Warm Springs, GA, and Aetavia Williams of Columbus, GA; four aunts, Alice Hixson of Columbus,GA Veola Jackson of Warm Springs, GA, Johnnie Mae Hixson of LaGrange, GA, and Clotee Copeland of Columbus, GA; three uncles, Walter Lucas of Columbus, GA, Willie Lucas of Pheonix City, AL, and Theotis Lucas of LaGrange, GA; bonus sisters, Latonja Hixson, Dewanda Hardnett, and Sophronia Holmes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her very much.
