Willie Bell, Jr., known as “Buddy,” was born May 29, 1938, in Meriwether County, Georgia.
Buddy joined Red Oak Baptist Church at an early childhood age. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and farming.
On March 4, 2023, God called Willie (Buddy) Bell, Jr., home to be with the Lord. May his soul be at rest in the arms of his ever-loving savior Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Norman Bell and Eltora Bell; brothers, Charlie Bell, Homer Bell, Rufus Bell, Marcella Bell, and Thomas Bell; and children, Rickey Bell, Deshawn Bell, and Vernita Bell.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his 13 children, Annie Jean Bell of Warm Springs, GA, Terry (Sheila) Bell of New Port, KY, Markeeta Favors of Manchester, GA, Tramaine Bell of Buena Vista, GA, Willie (Felicia) Bell of Euclid, OH, Betty Bell-Sims of Willoughby Hills, OH, Latorius Bell of LaGrange, GA, Tammie (Henry) Carter of Jacksonville, FL, Tyrone Bell of Woodbury, GA, Jerro Dunlap of Alvaton, GA, Angela Moore of Lakeland, FL, Anthony Moore of Woodbury, GA, and Jimmy Ferguson of Griffin , GA; special grandson/son, Kentravius “Tra” Moore; brother, Lamar Bell, Sr., of Woodbury, GA; and sister- in-law, Christine Bell of Manchester, GA. Also he leaves to cherish 45 grandchildren, 50 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.
