Willie "Bill" Holmes

On November 16,1940 the late Arthur Holmes and Minnie pearl Holmes was blessed with a son, Willie “Bill” Holmes. He passed away on August 2,2025 in Manchester,GA.

Willie joined new Hope Baptist Church at an early age. He was joined in holy matrimony to the late Myrtice Holmes who preceded him in death.

Willie Holmes was preceded in death by: his parents, wife , and siblings: Johnny Holmes, Emma Grace “Sue” Walton, Viola Holmes, Rosa Ford, and Ray Holmes.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Shelia Rush and Patricia Swann;a brother John Lee Hardnett Atlanta,GA; a sister Janice Hardnett Atlanta,GA; a special cousin Barbara Carter of Manchester,GA who cared for him and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins ,and friends who will miss him dearly.
